Terms and Conditions: Muslim Youth Summer Camp

1. Eligibility
  • Participants must be within the specified age range as stated on the registration form.

  • All participants must have completed registration, submitted a signed parental/guardian waiver, and paid the camp fee in full prior to attending.

2. Code of Conduct
  • All campers are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow participants, staff, and property.

  • Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or any form of unsafe behavior will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from camp without refund.

  • Participants are required to follow all camp rules and instructions from staff at all times.

3. Health and Safety
  • Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs during registration.

  • The camp will take reasonable precautions to ensure safety but cannot be held responsible for unforeseen accidents or injuries.

  • In case of emergency, camp staff will seek appropriate medical care and contact parents/guardians as soon as possible.

Meals and Dietary Restrictions
  • All meals served at camp are prepared with careful attention to common dietary needs. If your child has any food allergies or specific dietary requirements, please inform us in advance so we can accommodate them appropriately. All meat provided is sourced from the People of the Book and is considered halal. Vegetarian options are available upon request; please notify us ahead of time if needed.

5. Transportation
  • Transportation will be provided from Salt Lake City to Cedar City and for all camp-related activities. The camp is not responsible for participants outside of scheduled transportation times.

6. Personal Belongings
  • Campers are responsible for their own belongings. The camp is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

7. Photography and Media
  • By registering, parents/guardians consent to the camp taking photographs and videos of participants for promotional and documentation purposes. If you do not wish your child’s image to be used, please notify us in writing before the camp begins.

8. Payments and Refunds
  • Full payment is required to secure a spot. Refunds are only available if cancellation is made at least 14 days before the camp start date, minus a processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations within 14 days of the camp or for dismissal due to misconduct.

9. Waiver of Liability and Indemnification
  • Participation is at the camper’s own risk. The camp organizers, staff, and volunteers are not liable for any injury, accident, loss, or damage incurred during the camp, except in cases of gross negligence.

  • By registering, parents/guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless the camp organizers, staff, and volunteers from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from participation in the camp, including but not limited to injuries or accidents occurring during camp activities or transportation.

10. Modifications and Cancellations
  • The camp reserves the right to modify the schedule, activities, or location as necessary. In the unlikely event of camp cancellation, a full refund will be issued.

By registering for the Muslim Youth Summer Camp, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions, including the waiver of liability and indemnification provisions.
